Monday -Friday dayshift
Responsibilities
Assist in determination of parts requirements with customers, selling parts and providing order processing services.
Always maintains excellent customer relations while assisting customers in finding what they need.
Maintain a clean in-store display and merchandise sales area.
Order picking, packing, and shipping.
Parts and parts systems sold and inventoried by the dealership.
The operation of all material handling equipment and tools which may include forklifts.
All shipping requirements locally and to all territory locations.
Maintains all reports concerning parts returns to vendors.
Coordinates efforts with parts management, accounting staff, and outside companies to dispose properly of scrapped parts.
Maintains all reports concerning the scrapping of parts.
Participates in physical counts of parts and materials on an annual or as-directed basis.
Assists in determining causes of short- or over-item situations.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma, or equivalent in education.
Experience in warehousing in a distribution business preferred.
Knowledgeable on warehousing theory.
Knowledgeable on shipping methods and procedures.
Ability to learn proprietary software.
Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling up to 60 pounds.
Able to walk or stand for long periods of time..
Sometimes exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes and loud noise.
Excellent written and verbal communications required.
Contributes to high employee morale. Maintains excellent parts, rental, supply, and sales force relations.
